moon:patrol is a german pop rock act playing a mixture of groovy and always catchy rock songs. The four highly experienced musicians are known for inspiring live performances whenever entering the stage. Singer Sören intoxicates every audience within the split of a second, Thomas (bass), Andy (guitar) and Anja - the lady playing drums - provide a butt kicking sonic basis. Released in December 2009, moon:patrol’s debut "11:37" sounds as if they have taken the best elements of modern rock and 80’s pop music and made it their own. The songs are given some youthful vigour with fiery guitars and a great rhythm section. This album really is joy to listen to and contains some superb rock songs like the opener 'Dawn of the power' or the closer 'Outer Space'. Still the band delivers a decent ballad called 'Summer Soul'.
