Album Info

Calder is a musical project of Lárus Sigurðsson & Ólafur Josephsson. When Ólafur heard Lárus´s 'Jarðhörpusálmar' record, he was flattered with Lárus approach to ambient music.
They begun to exchange each others music, and that was the beginning of the Calder project. They deceided to make an effort and create an totally improvised guitar music with completely thick wall of ambience guitar sound. The result was recorded on Lárus´s 4-track recorder in two days. This material was self-released through Stafrænn Hákon´s (Ólafur's) own recording label outfit 'Vogor Recordings' in Iceland as an edition of circa 50 copies some years before this release on Unlabel.
Olafur has released 5 solo albums as 'Stafrænn Hákon': 'Eignast jeppa', 'Í ástandi rjúpunnar', 'Skvettir edik á ref', 'Prjónar húmmus', 'Ventill/ Poki' and Lárus Sigurðsson has released 3 solo albums: 'Encounters', 'And the Psalm Was Jarðhörpusálmar (Earth Harp Psalms)', 'Ljóssónia'.

Status:

Sold Out on its own but still available as part of the complete series52 box set on the main series52 page.
