Something quite special; for an album that's mainly instrumentals there's still plenty of variety, from the more traditionally melodic II and III to the tap-dance music-hall of V or the atmospheric Western-style Krautrock (think "Chill Out" by the KLF) of VII. And all of it is tied together by this commitment to prettiness, elegance. It may not be to everyone's tastes, and it's a grower, but - like the XX in 2010 - Frida Hyvönen has created a quite special album with much beauty to reveal.
