“The Icelandic London based composer/artist has written countless original scores for commercials and television, as well as award winning albums with his band AMPOP, and is cementing his reputation as one of the new breeds on the film scene.
Since moving to the UK he has been signed with Universal Music Film & TV, as well as collaborating with classical gurus, string quartets and theatre groups, as his passion for creating mesmerising soundscapes and melodies is never far away.”
Biggi has recently worked with renowned film directors such as Deepa Mehta (Water, Heaven on Earth), Alexandro Rodrigues (Children of Men, Y tu mamá también) and his music has appeared on various international TV series as well as on numerous films and trailers for BBC 1 and BBC 2.
-Brand New Song by Damien Rice-
Folk singer Damien Rice was born in Dublin, Ireland in 1973. He was originally a member of the rock group Juniper who had hits in Ireland with “Weatherman” and “World is Dead”. Rice left the band in 1998 to pursue his own career and released his debut solo album O to strong reviews in 2002. The single “The Blowers Daughter” went to the Top 10 in the UK, helping to push the album to triple platinum.
