In September, 2009, Stéphane Horeczko self-released his debut album "G. 1888", a tribute to French composer Erik Satie and his "3 Gymnopédies" published in 1888.
The music of Stéphane Horeczko has been qualified as ambient, minimalist, neo-classic, improvised, introspective, modern classical.

"Stéphane Horeczko's writing and playing style is like a graceful gymnast, with space gifted to both the linear time aspect as well as the chords and melodic intervals. The melody intervals and key changes are surprising and satisfying to the ear, many times haunting, highly modern classical, with a slight hint of elegant jazz ... The crystal clear sound of the acoustic piano contrasts nicely with the ambient echoey saxophone sound, and the purposely old scratchy phonograph sound of the last mix brings out the timelessness of this album."
