Album Info
Blue Jade was formed by Alex Zilinski aka 'Z' in 2005. Blue Jade could probably be best described as Modern Blues / Rock / Pop. In 2011 the band was completed by one of Austria’s best rhythm sections with Rainer Lidauer on Drums and Otto-Andreas Bruckner aka 'Oz' on Bass. Z [zē] spent the time from 2006 til 2010 in the United States where he recorded and toured with Major Label Act Atom Smash (Jive Records). While playing about 200 shows per year with Atom Smash he gained a lot of stage routine and experience. Z worked with tons of well known Artists and Producers like Multi - Platinum Award Winning Producer David Bendeth (Elvis, Paramore, Joe Cocker, Kaiser Chiefs, etc.), Producer Paul Trust (Atom Smash, James Durbin), Ian Paice (Deep Purple) , Rapper T-Pain (the Auto-Tune voice) and many more. With Atom Smash’s „Do her Wrong” they even had a Nr.1 Single (Sirius XM/Octane). 2011 Z left Atom Smash and went back to Austria to focus on his own career with Blue Jade. Blue Jade’s first EP ‘Hypnotized’ was released in 2010 and includes the title track “Hynotized” and their first single “Soul Tattoo”. In 2011 the trio began to work on their debut album. The best 10 songs were chosen and recorded throughout 2011. The Album was produced by singer/guitarist Z and is titled "lights out". In his songs Z talks about his experiences as a touring musician and the struggles you go through in life to find your way. Trying to get away from today's constant overstimulation, materialism and the pressure to succeed in every way, shape or form. But trying to give an impulse to focus on ourselfs, relax and shut off the world outside us - stop the comparing - just turn the "lights out".Write a review for Lights Out
