Album Info

The artist formerly known as Mgodoyi, returns with his second album in two years, a matured look and an even stronger sound which has that distinctive Kwaito dance element that separates the popular local genre from House music. "Nginawe (I have you)" is a combination of all the right musical and genre elements that result in smash hits. The reason why this album will do very well with Kwaito audiences is because from the moment you push play, the no nonsense "ayobaness" filled beats are deceptively easy to listen and dance to, which is what Kwaito is all about. The first two singles, "Bizzy" and "Yes" featuring Purari are pure Kwaito at its best and are sure to be huge on the streets and in the club scene! The title single, "Nginawe", is a tribute to all that have stood by the artist from his days as a street kid, to his current career as a burgeoning Kwaito star. Female vocalist, Tshego, is featured in "Nginawe" and two other songs, "Ilihlo" and "Ugologo" - a song that warns the youth of the dangers of alcohol abuse. The youth orientated message is also evident in songs like "Sebenza" and "Story" which get positive messages across behind catchy beats. Included in the album is "Pecha", the hit from the first album as a bonus track.
