Landscape Music - "Atmospheres inspired by the stories and diaries of Himalayan adventurers"Placement's first album, 'Our Man In High Places' features 10 tracks of locational ambient music that represent real or imagined Himalayan landscapes and situations. The evocations ranging from remote foothill gardens and wooded slopes, to the higher plains of Tibet, via teetering wire suspension bridges, bitter passes and cold airy peaks. A hybrid of fieldtrack, found sound and mixed electronica, the album was professionally studio mastered and recorded using digital tape.

This an example of typical Placement quality. The track never realy gets going yet still sucks the listener into the scene expecting a sudden attack or something of the like.
A great album. Although 'Collected Locations' still tops my favourites.

This is a stupendous album which flows like a dream from start to finish dipping in and out of magical sonic terrains in its wake; this is truly ambient at its best!
Diving into the world of 'Our Man In High Places' is like a taking a trip through lesser spotted regions of mind...it's like santa for one's imagination... magical, majestic and a real out there slice of sonic existence.
If you are in any way inclined towards the experimental regions of the world of ambient then do yourself a favor and invest a whole 3 bucks of your money and take your mind on a unique flavored trip to unexplored dimensions of la la land! -
