Album Info

This is the last single of Maya Viks four single releases of July.

Maya Vik is the renowned bass player of Norwegian Grammy winners Montée, gold selling band Furia, and Savoy (with Paul Waaktaar of a-ha). Her debut solo album, released in November 2011, was influenced by the Minneapolis sound of the early 80s, and her live show is a hard hitting funk extravaganza performed by a trio of brilliant musicians. This summer she will release four new tracks, one every week of July, followed by a digital album in August that will include new tracks and remixes.
The songs feature production and guest appearances from London based duo Royalty, American artist Morgan Phalen, and Block Beattaz of Huntsville, Alabama. The releases will coincide with her Japanese tour in July, and appearances on Norwegian festivals like Hove and Øya.
