Sykur's new single "Shed Those Tears", released digital-only on September 12, 2011 is a glamourous, pulsing dance floor electro-pop song that re-introduces Sykur in style featuring Árni from FM Belfast.
Recorded while studying for their final exams, it's a soundtrack for lost summer weekends, early-hours dance parties and festival mayhem.

The single is already finding an audience overseas, with The Guardian (UK) describing it as "opening with a laser-guided synth riff, bubbling beats and brilliantly reached vocals, it morphs into a wonderfully camp chorus featuring youthful falsetto" and Dazed and Confuzed saying about the band "get in early on these guys; then gorge, dance and brace the incredible rush".
