Album Info

The CD was recorded live at a concert in Berlin and offers a variety of songs and the impressive voice of guest singer Hrund Ósk Árnadóttir. It focuses on classic film entertainment of the 60s and 70s and hits from the swing era. For years Roy Frank joined Max Raabe as a saxophonist on important stages, such as the Berlin Walbbühne or New York's Carnegie Hall. He played at the Vienna Opera Ball, and in numerous television shows. With Max Raabe, he performed at the wedding of Marilyn Manson. He was photographed by star photographer Annie Leibovitz for the American edition of Vogue and has appeared in films by Werner Herzog and Michael Ballhaus. In 2009 he founded his own big band, the Roy Frank Orchestra.
