This album is absolutely wonderful. I was anticipating it eagerly when it was announced, and while I was imagining I would hear more post-rock, it doesn't matter. This is their most ambient album yet, and maybe it isn't their greatest, but only by a small margin. Of course, being just a few notches behind works like () and Takk... isn't a bad thing at all.

Sigur Ros are back and better than ever with Valtari. This album was well worth the wait and i cant wait to see what other stuff sigur ros has in the future. Key Tracks: Varúð,Dauðalogn, and Fjögur píanó
