Album Info

Egotronic piping up again - probably punkier than ever before. 'Was solls' - the first single of their upcoming album 'Ausflug mit Freunden' - sounds like the electronic translation of 'Soundtrack zum Untergang' (* 'Soundtrack to the Downfall', a german punk compilation). No Future meets loud electro. The track is supported by Rüde (Frittenbude) and Yari. Once hearing the track, there aren't many options left: Jump up, run riot... or party! In addition to the original version, the single contains a remix by A.G.Trio (Linz, Austria) - who transported the song straight into the clubs. It's really rare to see a 'no future' attitude coming along in a good temper. Primetime music at its best. kt&f (member of egotronic and responsible for live arrangements) on the other hand, contributed a minimal remix that puts the song right to where egotronic like to be after playing a show: at the afterhour party. Punk-show, Primetime Electro and Afterhour-Techno! You can't have a single more complete than that. Now seriously: What else do we need in times of all time crisis?
