It's a limited edition of 100 hand-numbered collectible copies, packaged in recycled cardboard.

It's part of series no.1 of "distant noise records".
During 2008, "distant noise records" released a series of 12 cd albums, one per month. There are 11 cd albums from some great artists, including jessica bailiff, yellow6, televise (ex-slowdive), the static silence (members of air formation, experimental aircraft, eau claire and monster movie), schengen and others and the 12th release is a remix cd, containing remixes by and of the 11 artists from the series; i.e. each artist remixed a single track by one of the other artists.
The artwork for the series is created by ben curzon (planet mu, make mine music, amongst others), and the 12 cd covers, once seen together, form one image!
