German label X-Mist started as a tape-label back in those days (called ExtremMist then - but almost noone got the pun within the double-M...) when it was popular doing home-tapeing and annoying other people with the weird shit you recorded on cassettes. Naturally not too many people outside of the hometaping-world would have bought that crap anyway, so cassettes were mostly traded.

Artist has released exclusive singles by Les Savy Fav and Pretty Girls Make Graves and ex-Amphetamine Reptile bands like Hammerhead, Vaz and Big Boys. Other artists include The Seconds (Yeah Yeah Yeahs side project), Ex-Models, Monochrome Set, Crowbar and more.
